Sir Robert Peel, Hart., which Francis was 2d but 1st surv. s. of the last Lord, and (eight days before his father) 10 Jany. 1881, aged 52. He was 6. 9 Dec. 1856 ; was a Lord-in- Waiting, Feb. to Aug. 18S6. He m. 14 Sep. 1881, at the Roman Catholic Church, St. Mary of the Angels, West- moreland Place, Bayswater, Jessie Philippa, 2d da. of Robert Russell Cahkw, of Carpenders, in Watford. Herts, formerly of the province of Rohilkhunda, India, merchant, by Jessie King, da. of Daniel Lade, of Dalblair, co. Ayr. She was b, 26 Dec. 1857, and bap. 7 Feb. 1S5S, at St. Jude's, Glasgow. Famihj estates— -These, in 18S3, consisted of 4,500 acres in Oxon, 900 in P.ucks, S10 in co. Leicester, 300 in co. Stafford, and 230 in co. Warwick. Total 0,740 acres valued at £S,S09 a year. Thomas Stonor, in whose favour the abeyance of the Barony of Camoys (of which he represented an eighth part) was terminated in 1839 after a lapse of above 400 years. Anthony George Wright, afterwards Biddulph, of Biddulph and Burton, b. 20 April 1785. In 1839 he represented one- eighth part of the Barony of Camoys, viz. a moiety of that fourth which had vested in the family of Goring.
