(h) The estate came from Sir William's mother, Margaret, wife of Thomas Went- worth, da. and h. of Sir William Gascoigne. of Gawthorpe afsd., by Joan, da. and h. of John Nkvill, of Oversley, s. and h. of Sir Ralph Nevill, a yr. s. of Ualpb, 1st Earl of Westmorland.
