The printing of the second Edition was so far advanced before the following Letter came to hand, as to render it impossible to make due enquiry concerning the accuracy of the information it contains. It has therefore been thought advisable to submit it to the judgement of the travelled reader, without alteration or abridgment; that, if he ever stops at an inn answering the description, he may have the pleasure of knowing that he is under the roof of a MacClarty.
