Started originally to cater to the needs of the students of The Rand School of Social Science, it has developed to the point where it serves a large number of Socialists, radicals and labor men and women in America.

One of the important features of THE RAND BOOK STORE is the selection of libraries on special topics to meet the demands from all over the country for recommended reading. The Rand Book Store has enlisted some of the leading scholars to prepare lists on such subjects as Socialism, Labor, American History, European History, Economics, Sociology, Philosophy, Science, Education, etc.
