Horizon and locality. Lower Siluric: Schenectady shale. The originals of figures 1, 5, 6, 11–16 are from the Dettbarn quarry at Schenectady, those of figures 2, 7–9 and 17 from Duanesburg, that of figure 3 from Rotterdam Junction, those of figures 4 and 10 from Rexford, that of figure 18 from Central Bridge, that of figure 19 from the Bozen Kill west of Altamont.
