Narasimha, Rai Bahadur (1887), retired Durbar Bakshi, Mysore; b. 1845; Honorary Secretary, Maharani’s College since 1888; took a prominent part in the founding of that College, 1880; has founded a Brahmin Widow’s Home in Mysore of which he has been Honorary Secretary since its foundation; deeply interested in the amelioration of the position of women in India.
