We have already noted in previous papers that, while eucalyptus has no action on ankylostonies and very little on necators, chloroform is equally efficient against both kinds of worms. Table I shows a 77"5 per cent ankylostome removal as compared with a 78'6 per cent necator removal.

If we now turn to the number of " cures ' we obtained with Hermann's Mixture, we find a percentage of 16'6 as against 25"0 recorded with -45 minims of chloroform alone. Aubrey obtained 52'3 per cent cures with a mixture which contained 60 minims chloroform.
