THE IRON HAND By Hall Caine

THIS latest play by Hall Caine is based on the speech of the German Emperor to the Potsdam recruits, in which he said, “Children of my guards, you are now my soldiers, mine body and soul. You have sworn to obey all my commands. From this day on you must know but one enemy and that enemy is my enemy; and if I command you some day to fire upon him, remember your oath and obey.”
