Monongalia Co., near Morgantown (Millspaugh). LYCOPERDON Tourn. L, GEMMATUM Batsch. On ground in woods, alt. 2,000 ft., Aug. 24, 1893 (Nuttall, 1180), L. FURFURACEUM Schæff. In grass on lawn, Sept. 3, 1893. Capillitium thicker than the spores, branches few, 2.5 to 4 cm. in diameter, outer coat pure while (Nuttall, 1188). L. PEDICELLATUM Peck. On moss on ground in pine woods, alt. 2,000 ft., March 10, 1893. Pedicels 20 u long (Nuttall, 864). L. PYRIFORME Schäff Under bark of Quercus palustris, Monongalia Co., near Morgantown and near Little Falls (Millsdaugh) on rotten wood, Feb. 2, 1893 (Nuttall, 832). L. PEDICHT Moss pedicels 2 SCLERODERMA Pers. S. VULGARE Hornem. On chips of Picea Mariana, Tucker Co. Falls of Blackwater (Millspaugh).
