Sometimes the change could be made very simply. Thus at I ٢٤٣٩, where C reads
AB correct the rhyme by reading جان جان چون آمدم in the first hemistich; and at I ٢٤٤٨, where C reads
A has هم گریان شده, and B هم گریان بده. At I ٣١٧٦ A reads
The first hemistich has been erased in C, but B corrects the rhyme and reads منیری مهمانیش را از خریwhich I have inadvertently admitted into the text. The original reading is that of A, and there can be little doubt that it was also the reading of C.
In the following examples the alteration has been more extensive.
At I ٢٦٤٦ C reads
In order to correct the rhyme AB read in the first hemistich گفت زن آهنگ بزم میگی. At I ۱٢٢۸, where C reads
AB read in the first hemistich گر ببطلانست دعوی کردن. At I ٢٩٤٢, where C reads
AB read in the second hemistich خاصه آن خبری که باشد بن تن. Often both the rhyme-words are altered, and the verse is more or less rewritten. At I ٧٧٥ C has
AB have
At I ٢٣٥٩ AC have
