Esteemed Chairman, respected Guests, and dear ALUMNI of the College, past and present

If the College had a calendar, as I trust it will have in due time, truly and literally this should be a red-letter day in it. The fact that this celebration has begun this year is, to my feelings, particularly gratifying, because one of the objects I have for many years set my humble, prayerful heart upon is this Old Boys' Association with its sequel, the celebration of the College Day. Admirable are the sentiments which have animated these endeavours. ‘They are praise-worthy in their spirit, as they are bound to be beneficent in their results.
