Dec. 1723, Mary, dau. of Thomas Jackson, of AVellesboume, Warwicks; she was bur. 20 June, 1758, leaving a son, SIR JOHN COTTERELL, high sheriff 1761, knighted at St. James's 10 Nov. of that j-ear; d. 29 Jan. 1790, having m. 13 Oct. 1736, Anne, only dau. and heir of John Geers, Esq. of Garnons, co. Hereford ; she d. 24 Aug. 1792, lea%'ing a son, SIR JOHN GEERS-COTTERELL, of Garnons, col. in the army, 1796, and col. Herefordshire militia, 1796 1803; M.P. for that county 1803 and 1806 31; was created a Baronet 2 Nov. 1805; b. 21 Sept. 1757; d. 26 Jan. 1845, having m. 4 Jan. 1791, Frances Isabella, only dau. and heir of Henry Michael Evans, Esq. of London ; she d. 3 July, 1813, having had, with other issue, 2 sons and 5 daus.
