(contracts dated 3 and 8 Sept. 1726) Jean Maitland, only child of James, Lord Maitland (son of John, 5th Earl of Lauderdale, by Lady Mar- garet Cunningham, sole dau. and heir of Alexander, 10th Earl of Glencaim); she d. 4 Mar. 1766, having had with other issue 3 sons, /I/ Sir Adam, 3rd Baronet, LL.D.
