Waterford, and had 3 sons, [1] Sir Richard, collector of excise for the port of Dublin, and author of a celebrated history of the Irish rebellion of 1798; created a Baronet of Ireland 2 Deo. 1782, ^^'ith remainder to the issue male of his father; d. 6 April, 1818, having m. 20 Dec. 1780, Deborah, dau. of Right Hon. By his 1st wife he had with other issue a son and successor, SIR RICHARD, 3rd Baronet, M.P. co. Waterford ; b. 6 Jan. 1790 ; d. 7 Jul}', 1859, having m. 29 July, 1815, Frances, dau. of Most Rev. WiUiam Xewcome, archbishop of Armagh; she d. 23 Sept. 1875, ha^-ing had 5 sons, (1) Sir Richard, s. as 4th Baronet. (2) Christopher, b. 23 April. 1823 ; d. unm. 12 Nov. 1872. (3) Robert, b. 14 June, 1830; d. mim. 3 Feb. 1878. (4) Edward, J.P. Waterford, formerly r.m. New Zealand, heir presumptive to the Baronetcy; b. 13 Oct. 1834; m. 10 June, 1858, Anastasia Letitia, dau. of .James Gee, of Cappagh, CO. Waterford, and has 4 sons and 2 daus. James, b. 13 Oct.
