Grace, dau. and heir of Hugh Halswell, of Wells, Somerset; she bur. 19 July, 1675. His great-grandson, viz. — SIR HENRY, 5th Baronet (on the death of his father Sir Henry, M.D. Feb. 1729/30), M.P. Exeter; bp. at Tavistock 1710; bur. 28 May, 1743, having m. Bridget Maria, only dau. and heir of Hugh Stafford, Esq. of Pynes, Devon (she re-m. 11 Sept. 1754, to Richard Madan, Esq. of 'Westminster), and had 3 sons, (1) Sir Staflford, s. as 6th Baronet. George Brad- ford, and had with 4 daus. a son, Hugh, of Pynes, Devon, rector successively of Upton Pyne and Monk Okehampton with Dowland; bp. 26 Jan. 1774; m. 12 April, 1804, Anne Lewes, dau. of Rev.
