He d. 9 Feb. 1635, having m. 1st, Mary, eldest dau. and coheir of Sir William Periam, Knt. of Fulford, Devon, lord chief baron of the exchequer ; she biir. 8 May, 1606, having had 6 sons and 5 daus. He m. 2ndly, Jane, relict of Roger How, Esq. of London, and dau. of William Symes of Chard, Somerset. His eldest son, SIR JOHN, M.P.
