Donegal 1613/15, capt. of fifty foot soldiers 1616, created a Baronet of Ireland by privy seal 10 April, 1623, and by patent 2 May follou-iug ; P.C. James I. and Charles I.; in the rebellion 1641, he and his brother routed Sir Phelim 0"Neill, near Strabaue, and in other places, custos rotulorum co. Donegal 1662; m. Frances, 2ud dau. of Sir Robert Newcomen, Bart, of Mosstown, co.
