THESE also may be classed under the term Marwarrees. They are the same class exactly as those described before under that head; respectable merchants, bankers, and general dealers, flourishing in Holkar's busy capital of Indore. Their native province, Shekhawattee, is a portion of Rajpootana. From the caste mark on their foreheads, the persons represented appear to be of of the Vishnuvite sect of Hindoos.
