gathered together, compressed, and condensed until it is inert. It is then naturally asked, What is spiritual substance? It is the substance of the Creator put forth in subordinate form, compressed, and with potencies and activity withdrawn in that degree which distinguishes the created. Lastly there arises the question. What is the substance of the Creator? It is, as has been previously shown, the Uncreate, Self-existing Substance forming the DIVINE HUMAN, which is Eternal, Infinite, Omniscient, Omnipotent, and Essential LOVE.
