Never may Melancholy's brood
Disturb the fountain of thy joy,
Nor dusky Passion's fitful mood
Thy peace alloy!

'Up, anchor! up!'—The mariner
Thus hymns to the inconstant wind—
Heave not one sigh, where'er you steer,
For me behind!
