LETTER XVI.


DEAR SIR,

THAT Part of our army which we left in Calcutta, arrived at Baarhmpore before our departure; and ſhortly after, the entire brigade received orders to march to Denapore, where we arrived in the year: 1775. On the Bengal eſtabliſhment, there are three brigades, who all wear the uſual ſcarlet uniform: that of the firſt is faced with blue --- of the ſecond with black --- and the third with yellow.
