Coſſi-buffant eſcaped with thoſe who made off, at the commencement of hoſtilities; and Maboub was purſued, taken, and font priſoner, under a ſtrong guard to Aſpah-doulah at Lecknow, where he received that puniſhment, which his perfidy deſerved.
