3. The second Public Session was held on the Feast of the Epiphany. On that day was made the profession of faith by all members of the Council, according to the tradition of the Church. In the second Council of Constantinople, a.d. 381, the fathers repeated the Creed of the Council of Nicæa; at Chalcedon, a.d. 451, was recited the Creed of Nicæa, with the addition of the Council of Constantinople.
