MARTYRDOM. (C.M.) đ…—đ…„ = 84. Hugh Wilson (1764-1824)

Scottish Psalter,,1670 (altd). Ps. xc. 14-17.

O with thy tender mercies, Lord,
Us early satisfy;
So we rejoice shall all our days.
And still be glad in thee.

According as the days have been,
Wherein we grief have had,
And years wherein we ill have seen,
So do thou make us glad.

Oh let thy work and power appear
Thy servants' face before;
Upon their children also show
Thy glory evermore:

And let the beauty of the Lord
Our God be us upon:
Our handiworks establish thou,
Establish them each one.
