子曰、父在、觀其
arrives at any State he always hears about
its administration. Does he ask for his
information, or, is it tendered to him ?
2. "The Master," said Tzu Kung, " is
benign, frank, courteous, temperate, deferential and thus obtains it. The Master's
way of asking, how different it is from that
of others ! "
CHAPTER XI.
The Master said : " While a man's father lives mark his
