The Woman.

The Woman.

                  My babes' sake——!

Brand.


[Scornfully laughing.]


You build upon a quaking sand!

Agnes.


[Turns with glowing cheeks to Einar, lays her hand on his arm, and says:]


Did you hear <g>all</g>?

Einar.

                  A valiant heart.

Agnes.

Thank God, Einar, you see your part
