THE FASTEST BICYCLE RIDER IN THE WORLD
61

BLACK VERSUS WHITE

As white as you are, and black as I be
Speed is quite natural to me,
For black as I am and white as you be
My color is “fast” black you see.

As white as you are, and black as I be
Still I'd rather be me.
For black as I be and white as you are
I may be whiter inside by far.

As white as you are, and black as I be
Still it was nature’s decree
For black as I be, and white as you are
I can be white though blacker than tar.

As white as you are, and black as I be
God created us both, and He
Can best judge though black as I be,
Who’s the whiter inside, you or me?
