ENDINGS IN -IBLE AND -ABLE

The correct spelling of words that end in -ible or -able is often a puzzle to a compositor when they have been obscurely written. For his guidance the following list of the -ible words is presented. It may be inferred that doubtful words not appearing in this list end in -able.[1]
