to me, hard to understand. If intelligibility—even of an incontrovertible sort—is to the mind what digestibleness is to the stomach, there is no miracle in it, especially as the nourishment in question involves nothing empirical. I believe that man would live for ever, if the body could at all times chew this with the rest.
