always the said Welsh Cloths Cottons Frizes Linings and Plains before the transporting thereof, shall be frilled cottoned and sheared as in former times they have used to be; And that no person shall transport the said Cloths in other manner than as aforesaid, upon pain to forfeit the whole Value of such Cloths so to be transported contrary to the true meaning of this Act, the one half of all which Forfeitures to be to his Majesty, his Heirs and Successors, and the other half to such person or persons as will sue for the same by Information Bill Plaint Action of Debt or otherwise, in any of his Majesty's Courts of Record, wherein no Essoign Protection Privilege or Ley Gager shall be allowed to the Defendant.

3. This Act to endure and continue for the term of Seven years from the end of this Session of Parliament, and from thenceforth to the end of the next Session of Parliament ensuing after the end of those Seven years.

4. Provided always, That this Act or any thing therein contained, shall not give Power or Authority to any Foreigner or Foreigners to buy and sell by way of Retail any of the said Welsh Cloths Cottons Frizes Linings or Plains within the Town of Shrewsbury, or in any other Corporate Town or privileged Place, contrary to any lawful Charter Grant Custom Privilege or Liberty in the same Town or Place now being or used.

An Act of repeal of one Branch of the Statute made in the 34th year of King HENRY the Eighth (c. 26), giving the King power to alter the laws of WALES.

Whereas the Subjects of the Country and Dominion of Wales have been constantly loyal and obedient, and have lived in all dutiful subjection to the Crown of England; And whereas by an Act of Parliament made in the four and thirtieth year of the Reign of the late King Henry 8, entituled an Act for certain Ordinances in the King's Majesty's Dominion and Principality of Wales, amongst Other Things it is enacted and ordained in these Words: Item, it is further enacted by the authority aforesaid, That the King's most Royal Majesty shall and may at all times hereafter from time to time change add alter order minish and reform all manner of Things afore rehearsed as to his most excellent Wisdom and Discretion shall
