Louth, and Ida, dau. of Edmund Jerningham; b. 1869; m., 1st, 1899, Sibyl (d. 1915), fourth dau. of the Hon. Educ. at Ushaw College, and London University; Writer of occasional articles in New Ireland Review on Religious Persecutions in France, Irish Economic Problem, &c.; wrote and spoke on the Irish University question, and gave evidence before the Royal Commission, 1906, which resulted in the establishment of the National University; gave evidence (representing the Louth County Council before the Commission on Irish Railways, 1906; b. 16th Feb., 1864; eldest son of Major Myles Wm.
