Notwithstanding subdivision (in) above, an apparel article containing elastomerie yams shall be eligible for preferential tariff treab'nent under this note only if such yarns are wholly formed in the United States. (b) For purposes of subdivision (aXi) above, findings or tdmm/ngs eligible under such subdivision include sewing thread. hooks and eyes, snaps, buttons, "bew buds", decorative lace trim, elastic strips. zippers (including zipper tapes and labels) and other sirmint products. Elastic strips are considered findings or trimm/ngs only if they are each less than 2.54 cm in width and used in the production of brassiems. For purposes of articles described in subtending 9820.11.06 and 9820.11.18, sewing thread slmll not be considered to be findings or tdtnnUngs (c) For purposes of subdivision (aXii) above, the intedinings eligible under such subdivision include only a chest type plate, a "hymo" piece, or "sleeve header", of woven or wel't-inserted warp knit construction and of coarse raftreal hair or man-made filaments. (d) For purposes of ! LS. note 7(i) to subchapter II of this chapter and subheadings 9820.11.03, 9820.11.06 and 9820.11.18. an article otherwise eligible for preferential treatment under such subbeadmgs shall not be ineligible for such treatment because the article contains nylon filament yam (other than elastomeric yam) classffiable under subheading 5402.10.30, 5402.10.60, 5402.31.30, 5402.31.60, 5402.32\17730, 5402.32.60, 5402.41.10, 5401.41.90, 5402.51.00 or 5402\17761.00 of the tariff schedule that entered free of duty as a product of Israel under the terms of general note 8 to the tariff schedule or as a good of Canada or a good of Mexico under the terms of general note 12 to the tariff schedule. For purposes of subheading 9820.11\17730, goods entered under tilts provision must be certified, by a competent authority of a designated beneficiary country enmnerated in general note 17(a) to the tariff schedule, as eligible products of such countay, in accordance with requirements established by the appropriate [ I.S. government authority. Articles imported from a designated beneficiary Carthbean Basra Trade Parbaersh\177p country enmnerated in general note 17(a) to the tariff schedule. Apparel articles of chapter 61 or 62 assembled in one or more such countries from fabrics wholly formed and cut in the United States, from yarns wholly formed in the United States (including fabrics not formed from yams, if such fabrics are classifiable in heading 5602 or 5603 and are wholly formed and cut in the United States), the foregoing which (1) are embroidered or were subjected to stone-washing, e:\177,ane-washing, acid washing, permapressing, oven-baking, bleaching, garment-dyeing, screen printing or other similar processes, and (2) but for such embroidery or processing are of a type otherwise described in heading 9802.00.80 of the tariff schedule .................................................................................. Apparel articles cut in one or more such countries from fabric wholly tbrmed in the United States from yams wholly formed in the United States (including fabrics not formed from yarns, if such fabrics are classifiable in heading 5602 or 5603 and are wholly formed in the United States), if such articles are assembled in one . or more such countries with thread formed in the United States ......... Apparel articles (other than socks provided for in heading 6115 of the tariff schedule) knit to shape in such a courtlay from yarns wholly tbrmed in the lJnited States; knitted or erecheted apparel articles (except t-shirts, other than underwear, classifiable in subheadings 6109. l 0.00 and 6109.90.10 and described in subheading 9820. l 1.12) cut and wholly assembled in one or more such countdes from fabrics thrmed in one or more such countdes or from fabrics formed in one or more such countdes and the United States, all the foregoing from yams wholly formed in the United States (including fabrics not formed from yams. if such lhbrics are classifiable in heading 5602 or 5603 of the tariff schedule a\177ld are formed in one or more such cotmtdes) and subject to the . provisions of U.S. note 2(b) to this subchapter ..................................
