Other Presidential Documents Presidential Determination No. 2007-22 of June 5, 2007 Partia] Resumption of Trave] to Lebanon To Promote Peace and Security Memorandum for the Secretazy of Transportation /]y virtue of the authority vested in me by 49 U.S.C. 40106(b) and for the purpose of promoting peace and security in Lebanon, I hereby determine that the prohibition of transportation services to Lebanon estab]ished by Presidentia] Determination 85-14 of Ju]y \177, \177985, as amended by Presi- dentia] Determination 92-4\177 of August \1777, 1992, and Presidentia] Deter- mination 98-32 of June \1779, \177998, is hereby further amended to permit U.S. air carriers under contract to the United States Government to engage in foreign air transportation to and from Lebanon of passengers, including U.S. and non-U.S. citizens, and their accompanying baggage; of goods for humanitarian purposes; and of any other cargo or material. All other prohibitions set forth in the above-referenced Presidential deter- minations remain in effect. You are directed to implement this determination immediately. Memorandum of June 12, 2007 Assignment of Certain Reporting Functions of the John Warner National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2007 Memorandum for the Secretmy of State[,] Secretmy of Defense[, and the] Director of National Intelligence By virtue of the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, including section 30\177 of title 3, United States Code, I hereby assign to the Secretary of State the functions of the Presi- dent under sections \17721\177(b), \1772\1773(b), and \177226(c) of the John Warner Na- tional Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2007 (Public Law 109- 364). In the performance of such functions, the Secretary of State should coordi- nate with the Secretary of Defense and the Director of National Intelligence, and the heads of other departments and agencies, as appropriate. 337
