A great many small steamers were moving to and fro, across the harbour, there being several small towns on the side opposite the city: so that the scene was not wanting in animated as well as still life. Altogether it forms such a combination of everything that can constitute earthly magnificence, that it is considered the ne plus ultra of the world.
