True Christian Love
Yea, and becauſe I cannot live, | |
and bruick his Love beneath, | |
My Chariot to eternal Life, | |
Death he appointed hath. | |
Therefore till Death his Love ſhall be | 2 Kings 2. 11. |
the beſt part of Life: | |
In him I'll ſtrive, 'gainſt baſer loves, | |
and Death will end the Strife. | |
Only, my Lord, ſtill pity me, | |
and tarry not too long: | |
