GLORIANA.

[Gregory.]

WHERE the summer sun doth shine,
On the green and fragrant vine,
There she dwelleth, maiden mine :
Gloriana.

Not a learned lady she ;
Yet in truth her parts agree,
With a subtle harmony :
Gloriana.

And the words so sweet, unwise,
To her rosy lips that rise,
Gain their power from her eyes :
Gloriana.
