DESIGN OF DIAGRAMS 7201 AND 7201.1
13.13 Diagram 7201 is used on the approach to road works and diagram 7201.1 as a repeater sign through the works. These signs do not indicate any lane changes or show red blocks denoting areas of closed carriageway. Diagram 7201.1 may incorporate diagram 7288 (white downward pointing arrow) to indicate contra-flow operation (see para 13.4. Figure 13-6 shows a design example for each diagram.
