1. Provisional agenda for the first meetings of the Security Council
- Opening of the meeting by the temporary Chairman.
- Presentation of the section of the Report of the Preparatory Commission which relates to the Security Council.[1]
- Adoption of rule 9 of the provisional rules of procedure providing a method for selecting the President.[2]
- Selection of the President of the Security Council.
- Adoption of the agenda.
- Adoption of provisional rules of procedure.[3]
- Recommendation to the General Assembly regarding the appointment of the Secretary-General (Charter, Article 97).
- Adoption of the directive to the. Military Staff Committee to meet at a given place and date.
