This Act may be cited as the "Departments of Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 1988". (i) Such amounts as may be necessary for programs, projects or activities provided for in the Legislative Branch Appropriations Act, 1988, at a rate of operations and to the extent and in the manner provided for, the provisions of such Act to be effective as if it had been enacted into law as the regular appropriations Act, as follows: AN ACT Making appropriations for the Legislative Branch for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1988, and for other purposes.

For mileage of the Vice President and Senators of the United States, $60,000. EXPENSE ALLOWANCES OF THE VICE PRESIDENT, THE PRESIDENT PRO TEMPORE, MAJORITY AND MINORITY LEADERS, MAJORITY AND MINORITY WHIPS, AND CHAIRMEN OF THE MAJORITY AND MINORITY CONFERENCE COMMITTEES
For expense allowances of the Vice President, $10,000; the President Pro Tempore of the Senate, $10,000; Majority Leader of the Senate, $10,000; Minority Leader of the Senate, $10,000; Majority Whip of the Senate, $5,000; Minority Whip of the Senate, $5,000; and Chairmen of the Majority and Minority Conference Committees, $3,000 for each Chairman; in all, $56,000. REPRESENTATION ALLOWANCES FOR THE MAJORITY AND MINORITY LEADERS
For representation allowances of the Majority and Minority Leaders of the Senate, $10,000 for each such Leader, in all $20,000. SALARIES, OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES
