(a) CONSTRUCTION AND ACQUISITION.—The Secretary of the
Air
Force may, using amounts appropriated pursuant to section 2304(a)(5)(A), construct or acquire two hundred sixty family housing units (including land acquisition) at Clark Air Base, Philippines, in the amount of $19,920,000. (b) PLANNING AND DESIGN.—The Secretary of the Air Force may, using amounts appropriated pursuant to section 2304(a)(5)(A), carry out architectural and engineering services and construction design activities with respect to the construction or improvement of military family housing units in an amount not to exceed $7,000,000. SEC. 2303. IMPROVEMENT TO MILITARY FAMILY HOUSING UNITS
(a) IN GENERAL.—Subject to section 2825 of title 10, United States Code, the Secretary of the Air Force may, using amounts appropriated pursuant to section 2304(a)(5)(A), improve existing military family housing units in an amount not to exceed $153,765,000. OD) WAIVER OF MAXIMUM PER UNIT COST FOR CERTAIN IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS.—Notwithstanding the maximum amount per unit
for an improvement project under section 2825(b) of title 10, United States Code, the Secretary of the Air Force may carry out projects to improve existing military family housing units at the following installations in the number of units shown, and in the amount shown, for each installation: Gunter Air Force Station, Alabama, twenty-three units, $1,136,000. Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama, fifty units, $2,722,000. Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, ninety-six units, $7,943,000. Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska, forty-eight units, $3,818,000. Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona, one unit, $60,000. Luke Air Force Base, Arizona, one hundred and fifty-two units, $5,975,000. McClellan Air Force Base, California, thirty units, $3,207,000. Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado, one unit, $74,000; eighty units, $3,527,000. Boiling Air Force Base, District of Columbia, one hundred and ten units, $4,018,000.
