103 STAT. 156 PUBLIC LAW 101-59—JULY 25, 1989 through January 13, 1990, is designated as "National Law Enforce- ment Training Week", and the President is authorized and re- quested to issue a proclamation calling upon the people cf the United States to observe such week with appropriate exhibits, cere- monies, and activities, including programs designed to heighten the awareness of all citizens, particularly the youth of this Nation, of the importance of law enforcement training and related disciplines.
