103 STAT. 1326 PUBLIC LAW 101-181—NOV. 28, 1989 Public Law 101-181 101st Congress Joint Resolution Nov. 28, 1989 Providing for the reappointment of Samuel Curtis Johnson as a citizen regent of the [H.J. Res. 357] Board of Regents of the Smithsonian Institution. Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That, in accord- ance with section 5581 of the Revised Statutes of the United States (20 U.S.C. 43), the vacancy on the Board of Regents of the Smithso- nian Institution, in the class other than Members of Congress, occurring by reason of the expiration of the term of Samuel Curtis Johnson of Wisconsin on December 4, 1989, is filled by the re- appointment of the incumbent for a term of six years, effective December 5, 1989.
