104 STAT. 882 PUBLIC LAW 101-407—OCT. 4, 1990 Public Law 101-407 101st Congress An Act Oct. 4, 1990 [H.R. 5725] To extend the expiration date of the Defense Production Act of 1950. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. TEMPORARY EXTENSION OF THE DEFENSE PRODUCTION ACT OF 1950. The first sentence of section 717(a) of the Defense Production Act of 1950 (50 U.S.C. App. 2166(a)) is amended by striking "September 30, 1990" and inserting "October 5, 1990".
