Except as otherwise expressly provided, whenever in this subtitle an amendment or repeal is expressed in terms of an amendment to, or repeal of, a section or other provision, the reference shall be considered to be made to a section or other provision of the Social Security Act. SEC. 5102. CONTINUATION OF DISABILITY BENEFITS DURING APPEAL. Subsection (g) of section 223 (42 U.S.C. 423(g)) is amended— (1) in paragraph (1), in the matter following subparagraph (C), by inserting "or" after "hearing,", and by striking "pending, or (iii) June 1991. " and inserting "pending."; and (2) by striking paragraph (3).
