This subtitle may be cited as the "Small Business Access to Surety Bonding Survey Act of 1992". SEC. 302. SURVEY. (a) IN GENERAL. —The Comptroller General shall conduct a comprehensive survey of business firms, including using a questionngdre described in subsection (b), to obtain data on the experiences of such firms, and especially the experiences of small business concerns, in obtaining surety bonds from corporate surety firms. (b) CONTENT OF SURVEY QUESTIONNAIRE.— In addition to such other questions as the Comptroller General deems appropriate to ensure a comprehensive survey under subsection (a), the questionnaire used by the Comptroller General shall include questions to obtain information from a surveyed business on— (1) the frequency with which the firm was requested to provide a corporate surety bond in fiscal year 1992; (2) whether the frequency with which the firm was requested to provide a corporate surety bond increased or decreased in fiscal years 1990, 1991, and 1992 and the reason for any increase or decrease, if known; (3) the frequency with which the firm provided a corporate surety bond in fiscal year 1992; (4) whether the frequency with which the firm provided a corporate surety bond increased or decreased in fiscal years 1990, 1991, and 1992 and the reason for any increase or - decrease, if known; (5) the average size of corporate surety bonds provided by the firm in fiscal year 1992; (6) whether the average size of the corporate surety bonds provided by the firm increased or decreased during fiscal years 1990, 1991, and 1992 and the reason for any increase or • decrease, if known; (7) the dollar amount of the largest corporate surety bond provided by the firm in fiscal year 1992; (8) whether the dollar amount of the largest corporate surety bond provided by the firm increased or decreased in fiscal years 1990, 1991, and 1992 and the reason for any increase or decrease, if known;
