[S. 3001] Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. ADJUSTED COST OF THRIFTY FOOD PLAN. Section 3(o)(ll) of the Food Stamp Act of 1977 (7 U.S.C. 2012(o)(ll)) is amended by inserting before the period at the end the following: ", except that on October 1, 1992, the Secretary may not reduce the cost of such diet".
