PUBLIC LAW 103-161—NOV. 30, 1993 107 STAT. 1967 Public Law 103-161 103d Congress • An Act To amend title 38, United States Code, to increase the rate of special pension Nov. 30, 1993 payable to persons who have received the Congressional Medal of Honor. [H.R. 3341] Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. INCREASE IN RATE OF SPECIAL PENSION FOR PERSONS ON THE MEDAL OF HONOR ROLL. (a) IN GENERAL. —Section 1562(a) of title 38, United States Code, is amended by striking "$200" and inserting "$400". (b) EFFECTIVE DATE. —The amendment made by subsection (a) 38 USC 1562 shall apply with respect to months beginning after the date of "°^- the enactment of this Act. Approved November 30, 1993.
