DEPARTMENT OF THE TREASURY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS FUND PROGRAM ACCOUNT For grants, loans, and technical assistance to qualifying community development financial institutions, and administrative expenses of the Fund, $50,000,000, to remain available until September 30, 1996: Provided, That of the funds made available under this heading not to exceed $4,000,000 may be used for the cost of direct loans, and not to exceed $400,000 may be used for administrative expenses to carry out the direct loan program: Provided further. That the cost of direct loans, including the cost of modifying such loans, shall be defined as in section 502 of the Congressional Budget Act of 1974: Provided further. That such funds are available to subsidize gross obligations for the principal amount of direct loans not to exceed $31,600,000: Provided further. That none of these funds shall be used to supplement existing resources provided to the Department for activities such as external affairs, general counsel, administration, finance, or office of inspector general: Provided further. That none of these funds shall be available for expenses of an Administrator as defined in section 104 of the Community Development Banking and Financial Institutions Act of 1994 (CDBFI Act): Provided further. That the number of staff funded under this heading shall not exceed 10 full-time equivalents: Provided further. That notwithstanding any other 12 USC 4703 provision of law, for purposes of administering the Community ^o*©. Development Financial Institutions Fund, the Secretary of the Treasury shall have all powers and rights of the Administrator of the CDBFI Act and the Fund shall be within the Department of the Treasury. INDEPENDENT AGENCIES CHEMICAL SAFETY AND HAZARD INVESTIGATION BOARD SALARIES AND EXPENSES (RESCISSION) Of the funds made available under this heading in Public Law 103-327, $500,000 are rescinded. COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS • COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS FUND PROGRAM ACCOUNT (RESCISSION) Of the funds made available under this heading in Public Law 103-327, $124,000,000 are rescinded and any unobligated funds as of June 30, 1995 are also rescinded.
