(b) REPORT.— Not later than 1 year after the date on which the Commission first meets, the Commission shall submit to the President and Congress a comprehensive report of the Commission's findings and conclusions, together with any recommendations of the Commission. 20 USC 50 note SEC. 706. COMMISSION ADMINISTRATION MATTERS. (a) APPLICATION OF FACA.— The National Health Museum, Inc. shall be responsible for administering all Commission activities in accordance with the Federal Advisory Committee Act (5 U.S.C. App.). (b) COMPENSATION OF MEMBERS. — Each member of the Commission who is not an officer or employee of the Federal Government shall be compensated at a rate equal to the daily equivalent of the annual rate of basic pay prescribed for level IV of the Executive Schedule under section 5315 of title 5, United States Code. 20 USC 50 note. SEC. 707. AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS. There are authorized to be appropriated to carry out this section, $500,000 for fiscal year 1998, to remain available until expended. 20 USC 50 note. SEC. 708. TERMINATION OF THE COMMISSION. The Commission shall terminate 60 days after the Commission submits the report required under section 705(b). This Act may be cited as the "Departments of Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 1998". Approved November 13, 1997.
