Ill STAT. 1770 PUBLIC LAW 105-85—NOV. 18, 1997 shall be handled in accordance with, and subject to the provisions of, section 1506 of this title in the same manner as applies to the file of a missing person.". (f) WITHHOLDING OF CLASSIFIED INFORMATION.— Section 1506(b) of such title is amended— (1) by inserting "(1)" before "The Secretary"; (2) by redesignating paragraphs (1) and (2) as subparagraphs (A) and (B), respectively; and (3) by adding at the end the following: "(2) If classified information withheld under this subsection refers to one or more unnamed missing persons, the Secretary shall ensure that notice of that withheld information, and notice of the date of the most recent review of the classification of that withheld information, is made reasonably accessible to the primary next of kin, members of the immediate family, and the previously designated person,". (g) WITHHOLDING OF PRIVILEGED INFORMATION. — Section 1506(d) of such title is amended— (1) in paragraph (2)— (A) by inserting "or about unnamed missing persons" in the first sentence after "the debriefing report"; (B) by striking out "the missing person" in the second sentence and inserting in lieu thereof "each missing person named in the debriefing report"; and (C) by adding at the end the following new sentence: "Any information contained in the extract of the debriefing report that pertains to unnamed missing persons shall be made reasonably accessible to the primary next of kin, members of the immediate family, and the previously designated person."; and (2) in paragraph (3), by inserting ", or part of a debriefing report," after "a debriefing report". TITLE VI—COMPENSATION AND OTHER PERSONNEL BENEFITS Subtitle A—Pay and Allowances Sec. 601. Increase in basic pay for fiscal year 1998. Sec. 602. Reform of basic allowance for subsistence. Sec. 603.
